Who do you say that I am?
Jesus first asked his apostles, "Who do the people say I am?" This was an easy question to answer. "Some say Elijah, some John the Baptist, some one of the prophets." But then he asked a more penetrating question: "Who do you say that I am?"
That is a question we all need to ask ourselves. Jesus has many titles. One of my favorites is "The Compassion of God." I believe in a God who loved us so much that he sent his Son to suffer and die for us.
Who do you say that Jesus is?
Jesus for me is someone who can fix and help me with my problems and life situations

ReplyDeleteJesus is my Savior. If it wasn’t for God’s ultimate sacrifice of his son, we would not be forgiven. Also I know that I am protected and can do anything because I have accepted Jesus into my heart.

ReplyDeleteJesus Himself said in the book of John that Him and the father are one, which means He is lord and He is Holy, savior and righteous judge.

DeleteJesus to me is like a counselor and a father at the same time. He is there at times when I need him the most. He guides me through a path that will lead to tough times and happiness, but at the end it will be worth it. He loves everyone the they are no matter and Jesus proved that we were his everything by simply showing it on the cross. Without him being by my side, my life will fall down like a house of cards.

DeleteJesus Christ, to me, is a sign that there is a reason that I was put on this Earth. That although sometimes it may feel like there's no reason to be here, Jesus dying on the cross for me is proof that God loves me and created me for a special purpose.
ReplyDeleteJesus to me is my all might savior. I've seen him work miracles in my life and my family members. He forgives me for the sins I commit. Also teaches me how to accept others for who they're.
ReplyDeleteJesus to me is my father. He is someone who suffered and died for us. When we were at our worse. He wanted to protect us from all the bad. But no matter what we do he will always love s for who we are.

He helps me at times and sometimes he doesn't, but I know that doesn't mean that he doesn't love me for not helping me. Jesus is my one and only source of love in this world because, I know, without his love I am nothing, But with it, I can accomplish anything.

ReplyDeleteJesus said "who do you say I am?" because he knew he was the son of God but other people didn't believe him. So he asked them that question. There were plenty of different responses but it seemed like he and his disciples knew.
ReplyDeleteJesus is basically asking what his prophets think of him, besides what everyone else thinks of him.
ReplyDeleteJesus is asking for those who worship him, what they say he is. Jesus I feel wants to know whether or not they are loyal and give loving to him

ReplyDeleteJesus is the son of God. He always there for me no matter what. The one who cares for me and do what he can to keep me safe. With out him I am nothing.
